Some
excellent
types of
exercise
for
first
trimester
pregnancy,
second
trimester
pregnancy
and
third
trimester
pregnancy
can
include;
swimming,
yoga,
biking,
pilates,
aerobics
and
walking.
Throughout
the
first
trimester
pregnancy,
second
trimester
pregnancy
and
third
trimester
pregnancy
a
woman’s
body
along
with
that of
her
growing
baby
will
change
in
wonderful
and
amazing
ways.
From
discovering
a couple
is
pregnant
in the
first
trimester
pregnancy
to
keeping
up with
third
trimester
exercise
there is
a lot to
learn
and
experience.
Once a
woman
finds
out that
she and
her
partner
are
pregnant
some of
the
things
she will
have to
do in
the
following
months
ahead
are:
-
immediately
check
with
her
family
physician
to
confirm
the
pregnancy,
her
family
physician
can
then
recommend
an
obstetrician;
-
take
good
prenatal
vitamins;
-
refrain
from
smoking,
drinking
alcohol
and
taking
any
medications
that
are
not
confirmed
with
physician;
-
making
sure
to
keep
up
with
all
obstetrician
appointments
to
ensure
proper
prenatal
tests
and
screenings
are
done
when
needed.
The
symptoms
a woman
will
experience
can
change
from
first
trimester
pregnancy,
second
trimester
pregnancy
and
third
trimester
exercise.
With
each
trimester
the
fetus
development
progresses
at an
overwhelming
rate.
During
the
first
trimester
pregnancy
some of
the
fetus
development
that
takes
place
includes;
nervous
system
starts
to
develop;
placenta
becomes
functional
with an
exchange
of blood
between
baby and
mother;
baby is
very
vulnerable
to
disease
and
infection
at this
stage
(alcohol,
substance
abuse
and
certain
medications
should
be
avoided);
eyes and
ears
begin to
develop;
circulation
begins
and by
approximately
ten
weeks
the
fetal
heart
may be
heard.
The
first
trimester
pregnancy
begins
at
conception
and ends
around
the 14th
week of
pregnancy,
with the
second
trimester
pregnancy
being
considered
from the
14th to
the 27th
week of
pregnancy.
For many
women
the
second
trimester
is often
the best
part of
pregnancy
but of
course
no two
pregnancies
are ever
alike.
During
the
second
trimester
pregnancy
the
tiredness
and
nausea
experienced
in the
first
trimester
are
often
replaced
with
high
energy
and
positive
moods.
The risk
of
miscarriage
is
greatly
reduced
after
the
first
trimester
pregnancy
is
completed
and the
physician
should
be able
to hear
the
baby’s
heartbeat
around
this
time.
Women
will
start to
notice
themselves
gaining
more
weight
during
the
second
trimester
in
pregnancy
and
around
the 16th
to 20th
week
baby
movement
may be
felt.
For
women
who have
routinely
exercised
during
the
first
two
trimesters,
third
trimester
exercise
will
most
likely
be fine
(if
unsure
it is
wise to
consult
your
obstetrician).
Once the
first
trimester
pregnancy
and
second
trimester
pregnancy
are
past, it
will be
with
great
anticipation
for a
couple
to enter
into the
third
trimester
of
pregnancy.
The
third
trimester
of
pregnancy
is weeks
28 - 40,
of
course
babies
may be
born
sooner
or later
than the
40th
week.
Once a
woman
reaches
the last
weeks of
pregnancy
there is
sure to
be a
feeling
of
excitement
along
with a
desire
to hurry
things
along
(given
the
large
amount
of
weight a
woman is
carrying
around
at this
point).
During
the
third
trimester
pregnancy
couples
will
want to
start
preparing
for
labor
and have
a
hospital
bag
packed
and
ready.
For
women
who have
exercised
throughout
the
first
and
second
trimester
they
still
may be
able to
do third
trimester
exercise
(if
unsure
it is
wise to
always
check
with
doctor).
The
first
trimester
pregnancy,
second
trimester
pregnancy
and
third
trimester
exercise
experience
will be
unique
to each
individual
pregnancy.
At this
exciting
and
amazing
time a
woman’s
body
along
with
that of
her
growing
baby is
undergoing
such
incredible
changes
it is
important
to take
good
care of
herself
and baby
by
practicing
the
following
tips;
taking
the
proper
prenatal
vitamins,
maintaining
regular
doctor’s
appointments,
getting
the
proper
screening
and
tests
done,
receiving
adequate
rest,
eating
healthy
and
trying
to
remain
as
stress
free as
possible.
Good
prenatal
care
will
ensure
that
both mom
and baby
are as
healthy
as
possible.
